Salary Day is a free budgeting game. You split a month’s take-home pay across rent, bills, EMIs, savings, fun and family, then face random events: a wedding gift, a cracked phone, a sale, a medical bill and a loan app offering instant money. Each choice shows its real cost, and at month-end you get a grade and tips.
There is no single right split, but many people start with essentials first, a fixed saving taken out on salary day, and a capped amount for fun. The game lets you test your own split against a month of surprises.
Many charge a processing fee plus daily interest, so a 30-day loan can cost a large share of the amount you actually receive. The game shows the cost when you choose one.
