Omozing Answers › Eligibility

How firm a pre-approved offer is depends on what the lender knew when it made it, and what has changed since.
Your own bank’s offer may rest on years of salary credits it can see. An outside lender’s offer may rest on a bureau snapshot alone.
An offer built on last quarter’s report won’t know about a loan you took last month.
A new EMI shrinks the room in your take-home for another one, so the final amount often drops.
A job switch, a pay cut or salary moving to another bank can all change the verified income.
The headline shows the best case. Your actual amount and rate sit somewhere within it.
The only figures that bind the lender: rate, fees, APR and the total you will repay.
Deepa is an illustrative profile, not a real customer. In March she received a message: “You are pre-approved for a personal loan of up to ₹6 lakh, rates from 12.5% a year.” She clicked in October, after buying a car on EMI in the summer. Every figure below is an example, not an offer.
Arrows point left to right; bars drawn to scale. An illustrative profile; rates and fee are examples, not an offer. Omozing’s rates start from 11% a year.
The offer was not false; it was out of date. The new car EMI reduced how much of Deepa’s salary was free for another EMI, so the lender cut the amount and priced the loan higher. Her EMI over 36 months is about ₹15,710, not the ₹20,072 she had pencilled in for ₹6 lakh at 12.5%. A 4% fee plus 18% GST is deducted at disbursal, so ₹4,28,760 reaches her account. If she needed the full ₹4.5 lakh in hand, she would have to ask for slightly more.
When it gets harder:
What helps:
A pre-approval is a marketing filter: the lender picks customers likely to qualify on the data it has. Generating the offer usually involves no hard enquiry. Applying usually does, along with documents and identity checks. Under RBI digital lending rules, the lender must give you a Key Fact Statement with the APR before you sign, and digital loans carry a cooling-off period during which you can exit the loan. Read the KFS carefully; it is the offer.
Every Omozing loan is subject to credit assessment, and a credit officer reads your full credit report, not just the score. The exact interest rate, fees and APR are shown in the Key Fact Statement before you sign. Omozing never asks for any fee before approval; anyone asking for money upfront in Omozing’s name is not us. Salaried, take-home ₹40,000 or more, credit score from 600. Loans up to ₹25 lakh over 3 to 36 months, rates from 11% a year.
No. It is an invitation based on pre-screening; the lender still verifies your income, identity and credit report before sanctioning anything.
Receiving one usually does not. Applying usually adds a hard enquiry, which causes a small, temporary dip.
Usually because something changed since the offer: a new EMI, a salary change or a late payment. Ask the lender for the main reason.
Often fewer if it is your own bank, but most lenders still verify income and KYC before disbursal.
Yes. An offer you don’t accept costs nothing, and ignoring it does not affect your score.
