Omozing Answers › Loan apps and consolidation

If ₹1,000 of a ₹10,000 loan goes in fees, you receive ₹9,000 but owe on ₹10,000. That gap is why the chain always grows.
One loan can often be closed from one salary. Four overlapping loans usually can’t.
If your pay doesn’t cover your costs, the chain is a symptom. The gap itself needs fixing too.
Family, an employer advance or a planned loan all break the chain without adding another app.
Sajid is an illustrative profile, not a real customer. He needed ₹15,000 for a deposit. Every app he used had the same illustrative terms: a 30-day loan, a 6% fee deducted at disbursal and 0.3% interest a day. To receive ₹15,000 he borrowed ₹15,957 and owed ₹17,394 a month later. He didn’t have it, so he borrowed from a second app to repay the first, and so on.
Bars drawn to scale. Illustrative app terms: 6% fee deducted at disbursal, 0.3% a day, 30 days. Each cycle multiplies the debt by about 1.16.
After six cycles a ₹15,000 need has become ₹36,466 due, and ₹21,466 of that is fees and interest. Each month of delay costs more than the last:
| Breaking the chain after | Amount to clear | Added that cycle |
|---|---|---|
| Cycle 1 | ₹17,394 | ₹2,394 |
| Cycle 2 | ₹20,169 | ₹2,775 |
| Cycle 3 | ₹23,388 | ₹3,219 |
| Cycle 4 | ₹27,120 | ₹3,732 |
| Cycle 6 | ₹36,466 | ₹5,019 |
Six new apps can also mean six hard enquiries and six new accounts on his report. The cheapest exit was always the first one. To price your own apps, use the loan-app cost calculator.
A chain of short loans, each opened just as the last one closes, is easy to spot on a credit report. Lenders read it as a monthly shortfall rather than a one-off need. Breaking it, paying everything on time and opening nothing new for a few months is what changes that picture. See how app-loan history affects new applications.
SmartSwitch consolidates several short-term loan-app loans into one Omozing loan with one EMI, so you deal with one lender and one due date. The money goes to your own bank account; you close each app loan and share the NOCs. Omozing lends to salaried people with a take-home of ₹40,000 or more a month, and a credit officer reads your full credit report.
See how one EMI could replace them, or plan your way out step by step.
Each new loan deducts its fee upfront, so you borrow more than the loan it repays. The fee and interest are added every cycle.
Both add cost. Compare the extension fee with the new app’s fee and interest, but the real fix is repaying without either.
Often, if the single EMI fits your salary and your report shows no serious defaults. Apply to one lender, not several.
Many applications add hard enquiries, and any late payment is reported. See why scores drop after many apps.
